Dr.
Jonathan D. Hamer.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Adrian College (Adrian, MI), Dr. Hamer enrolled in the Illinois College of Optometry. During his training, he gained experience not only in primary eye care but also in contact lenses, ocular disease, and pediatric eye care.
Upon graduation from ICO (Cum Laude) in 2002, Dr. Hamer began practicing full-scope optometry with an emphasis on contact lenses, as well as pediatric/developmental optometry. He is a provider for the Infantsee program, and is an active member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association. Dr. Hamer is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association, and the Southeast Council of Optometrists. Newly married, Dr. Hamer and his wife reside in the metro Detroit area.
